Rubis
Rubis is a high quality cleaning solution used in the edgebanding industry. Conventional organic solvents raise many questions related to their toxicity, volatility and petroleum origin. Rubis is a product that could be described as an alternative solvent. This biosolvent made from renewable raw materials of plant origin is an excellent substitute for solvents of petrochemical origin.
Rubis is used to clean off adhesive and non-stick solution residue after the edgebanding is installed. It is applied on the bottom side, the upper side and on the edgebanding.
Rubis also cools the edgebanding and the glue joint as well as cleaning the radius of the edgebanding. The product can be sprayed with an edgebander or applied manually.

Instructions
This product can be sprayed on or used by soaking a cleaning cloth. It can also be sprayed with the help of an edgebander by referring to your machine’s user Manual. It is used on the top face, the bottom face, as well as on the edgebanding. Residues of glue, non-stick solution, markers, etc. are removed with Rubis cleaning solution. To optimize the process and reduce clean-up time, it is recommended to use Citrine or Opale nonstick solutions before applying the glue.
